It's remotely possible that DMA memory is being used incorrectly by the
driver for the card (or the card is DMA'ing to the wrong location). I've
never done video drivers, but I have seen similar behavior while
writing/debugging network drivers and preproduction firmware (though, to
be honest, it was more often my fault, w/ the drivers, than the firmware
guy's fault).

Do the memory errors occur while not running X-Windows?

Can you try a different version of the video driver? I know it can be a
pain enabling/disabling on-board video, but you may want to try the
memory test w/o the voodoo in the system.
