The WIA has Java training listed. Alas, none of the schools they have listed is able to provide any real Java training. Various counties have Federally funded training for displaced (laid off) workers. For instance, DeKalb County has a DeKalb Workforce Development group charged with identifying persons needing help in finding a job. This can include training. Within the Atlanta Regional Commission, there is a pointer. This may help. http://www.atlantaregional.com/workforce-s olutions/training-and-education-services -----Original Message----- From: Debbie D Shops Sent: Nov 6, 2014 6:58 PM To: "[email protected]" Subject: [ajug-members] to AJUG, JAVA training question Dear AJUG members and JAVA experts, Where do you recommend getting JAVA training for a 30 year mainframe COBOL DB2 developer? This individual is a self trained MS Access, VBA expert also. Thanks.
