Photoshop usability research study at Stanford

Are you an experienced usability evaluator and an advanced user of
Adobe Photoshop? If yes, are you interested in taking part in a paid
research study on Photoshop during the month of April? The Stanford
Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory is looking for study
participants to review video of think-aloud usability testing
sessions, identifying usability problems and rating their severity.

We are looking to identify individuals with the following background:

  * Expertise in usability evaluation (at least two years of industry
    experience evaluating traditional think-aloud usability tests).

  * Expertise in Adobe Photoshop (any recent version is fine), either
    as a hobby or as part of your work. Preference will be given to
    individuals with experience using Photoshop for retouching of
    digital photographs.

The study will take place in March and/or April, and should last about
2 weeks in duration (30-45 hours distributed over the 2 weeks).
Significant portions of the study can be done from home. Some
compensation will be also be provided for your time - approximately
$30/hour. As side benefits, you will also learn a lot about Photoshop,
get to know our HCI group better, and enhance your portfolio as a
usability evaluator.
