sure: security and usability have to date seemingly been at odds. that
doesn't mean either one should be allowed to throw the other out with
the bathwater. to date it has mostly been security that has gotten the
shaft.

(i think w/out the "or in any way building the app" part i might not
have seen the older paragraph as so misguided.)
