Re: help: chinese hanzi characters in webmail

Outlook on which platform? Win 98, 2k, or XP? I forgot to mention that 
UTF-8 will only work on XP and maybe an upgraded 2k. Win 98 and below 
can't really handle Unicode that well. Older Outlooks (97, 6.0)  also 
aren't that happy with it. 

Other than that, it sounds like an encoding problem -  Outlook isn't 
recognizing the proper encoding for the mail. Try sending me chinese 
emails from both your webmail and outlook and let me see if I can spot 
anything.
