Is the LG model sold under a different brand name outside of Asia?

If you want to run Linux and in general run any computer and avoid
problems, it is best to stick to brands like Dell, IBM and HP.  IMHO the
price savings on other brands still do not equate to better "Value".
Also being a more esoteric brand, the information available is also
harder to come by.
