I have it working now behind a firewall and using NAT with a normal
telephone.  But to finish my testing I need to figure out how to receive
phone calls from another person with a normal phone.

Now I can pick up the phone and dial and you can't tell it is VoIP and I can
call normal phones all over the world.  But I now need to get the reverse to
work........??

Then integrate it into SME server..  ;-)

Just to reply to your question about SIP, yes SIP works with dynamic IP
since the IP is the REGISTER message (registration to SIP server) and SIP
routing is using the IP protocol. There are even implementation of SIP
behind NAT and firewalls, made possible to drafts like TURN or SPAN.

But for SIP - don't you need a static IP to be able to dial using an IP #
and not a normal phone number?
