Re: Debian default font for Chinese display is not complete

I also use SCIM which worked fine until yesterday after I upgraded the 
package. There are more options now but I can't seem to find how to type 
in Chinese anymore. Anyway this is a small issue and I will probably fix 
it soon.

The way it works on my system is I select the font in KDE control panel 
and all KDE applications use those fonts. Works quite ok for displaying 
(though as I mentioned by default it says Bitsream Vera and ...). I 
found a Bitstream Cyberbit font that also displays South-East Asian 
languages which I occasionally need as well. Though I find the English 
typeset not that "hao kan"...
