Hi Ali:

I'm still waiting for some kind of response from CNC about their lousy
network between Dalian and Beijing.

China Unicom wants our business, but best is a ping (from Dalian) to mit.edu
of 300-400 ms.
(that's on a fiber connection from their China Unicom's Dalian's offices)

Are you guys in Beijing getting faster pings?

Can you refer me to any documentation about China's networks?

Here's my latest to mit.edu on our CNC, 4Mbps, ADSL line on deserted Sunday
evening.(yahoo.com and cnn.com are even worse)

Thanks.

jim
