Re: Which Distro to use for production environment

Quick update,  I went ahead and tried 3 things:

1. Install Debian 3 stable.  Couldn't get network card working even 
after using debian's alien tool to get the sources out of the rpm and 
attempt to compile them - major issues with, one compiled, missing 
dependencies.
2. Install Debian 3 Testing (For fun) Netinstall Beta 4. Install program 
found the network card, I configured it like I would any other (first 
tried dhcp, failed, then static ip,. failed again).
3. Install Red Hat 9.  It booted, but when the install program when to 
find the install media (after selecting CDROM from list of CDROM, HTTP, 
NFS, etc...), if couldn't find the correct CD.

Yeah, so, this isn't too good...  Ideas? :-)
