      Software Engineer – Customer Centric Engineering

      Title: Software Engineer – Customer Centric Engineering
      Location: Beijing

      Responsibilities:

      BEA Systems has a tradition of providing our customers with the best
support possible. Our Tuxedo group has several openings for CCE Engineer. As
a CCE Engineer, you will work in the Product Development organization and
act as liaison between that group and our Developer Relations group.
Specific duties include:

        a.. Primary responsibilities include resolving customer escalations,
investigating work around or providing patches for fixes in a timely and
quality manner
        b.. Reproduce and diagnose problems, and investiaget causes
        c.. Develop solution to fix defect, carry out testing and ensure its
effectiveness in customer’s environment
        d.. Clearly document the defect, the cause of the problem, and
solution
        e.. If needed, work directly with the customer to solve urgent
problem
        f.. Work closely with the development group to integrate fixes to
the next release and participate in design and code implementation
        g.. Help the QA team include important fix tests to regression
testing suite
        h.. You will specialize in one or two technical areas and develop
expertise therein.
      REQUIREMENTS:

      Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or above

      Qualifications:

        a.. 2+ years of software development experience in C/C++
        b.. Java experience a plus
        c.. Experience with Tuxedo, Jolt, WebLogic Server, enterprise
client/server programming is desirable
        d.. Strong debugging and development skills on UNIX and NT
        e.. Knowledge of the UNIX and/or NT development environments,
including Shell programming desirable
        f.. Open VMS knowledge a plus
        g.. Experience in commercial programming;
        h.. Ability to promote a high level of customer satisfaction by
providing thorough and useful information; ability to follow-through and
complete calls and projects independently, as well as actively participate
in team-based activities and group projects
        i.. Good English language skills (CET-6), both spoken and written
