from UnitedLinux, I learned some lessons (again):
  1. long distance relationship never works.
  2. 4-some is too many to develop anything.

the idea of UnitedLinux is actually not that bad, ISV/IHV love
standard Linux. the hard part is to have the common vision and
sustensible biz model of all the members. The implementation of
UnitedLinux failed, not just because SCO played some bad guy here, but
the product smells too much like SuSE, and SuSE is the only winner of
this UnitedLinux thing. in the end, real technology counts.

Asianux is reaching 2.0 now, i do hope its effort will finally work.
