But isn't that was the LSB (linux standards base is all about)?  That is
the ISV/IHV standard format and SUSE Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise and
many others all work to those standards... and always have....

I see the UL thing as a power play directed at Red Hat more than
anything else....
