I bet that next year, after this gets out into the standard Linux distributions, everyone will start taking desktop Linux more seriously. And I'm really glad that it does this on top of X and OpenGL. Two tried and true open APIs. Much better than what Microsoft and Apple have done, from a developers' point of view.
