I will try to say it nicely since it is not the first time I see it and I feel offended ... could you keep your cultural/political comments for yourself (since the LINUX USER GROUP is definitely not about that) and at least show some respect to the people who are welcoming you on their own land. I have always noted the Chinese need for "face" and how it often leads to nice exteriors and poor interiors. "Rotten Apples" if you will. Anyway combine all that in with the Chinese penchant for short term planning and decision making, the argument of the article, the environment, IT and telecommuting and Beijing - which for me at least I have seen massive changes in the past 4 years. And I am sure most would agree that one day, who knows when, the dominoes will all fall over.....
