That is often one, common way to use PGP.

But not the only way to use PGP.

FYI... I'm not officially a "professor".  Technically I'm just a
lecturuer.  I mention this, because sometimes, though not so much
at DePaul / CDM in my experience, full-time tenure or tenure-track
professors care about the distinction.

You're on the right track, except for thinking you need anything
else besides what is in that file to get to the next step.
