Fair enough. Good point. IIRC, it is the dearer option though?

For the OP, regarding buying hardware for Linux - always check that it
is compatible BEFORE you buy it. If necessary, boot it with a live CD
and check out that all the hardware works. If they won't let you boot
with a live CD then (I personally would) go elsewhere.
