Hi Kevan,

This may be unhelpful since you've probably got GNOME set as the
desktop environment, but in KDE you could open "System Settings",
select "Workspace Appearance", choose "Cursor Theme", choose a theme,
and set the size in the appropriate dropdown box. There are left
handed themes that can be installed by choosing "Get New Theme...",
too.
