Hi,

It's also worth trying the latest Ubuntu release. The 14.x releases are
fairly old now, and some of them (14.10) aren't supported any more - see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases for more info.

It would also be helpful to know what you've tried, and what happened when
you tried it. Printers can be a real pain, but hopefully we can point you
in the right direction.
