No, this is quaintly new, the black "TV screen" as usual except
instead of starting to load and play, there's the message that is
actually ON the screen, a dark grey bar with small printing in it. So
I strain my eyes only to find out that it isn't going to show me
anything <harrumph>.

Before, I used to get messages about flash.  Not on the "screen" (the
one it should show video in) but on the actual screen.

Chromium is proving to be a sweetie.  It fetched Adblock all by
itself.  Who couldn't love that?
