Just following up on a very quick run down of some KDE stuff that Paul gave me tonight. I've just discovered these shortcuts: Meta-Tab / Meta-Shift-Tab = Switch forward and backward between activities. My KDE life is looking promising. Also when an application is running, right clicking it in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and choosing "Show A Launcher When Not Running" pops an icon into the taskbar to relaunch it later. Alternatively you can drag an icon to the taskbar but it doesn't sit in the same part of the taskbar that the launchers do.
