As discussed briefly at DunLUG last night, does anyone have experience playing around with WebRTC? Bob got a demo going in a few seconds after installing Chrome. WebRTC is still under development, it may be good enough, the ways it can be implemented are enormous. This particular demo could be good enough to put on an Intranet for none-critical playing with, possibly even for use: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2013/03/making-webrtc-simple-with-conversat-io/ "multi-user video calls with no account and no plugins, just by going to a url in a modern browser. Anyone who visits that same URL joins the call" I was asked last week to add video conferencing between sites at my workplace, so maybe we'll play with this demo to start with. Firefox will ship with WebRTC in stable soon. There'll be some pressure for Skype due to external users, but if we get particular implementation working then maybe a link on our public facing website would suffice.
