Hi Sahil,

Your BSNL modem's setup page would have a port forwarding option 
somewhere in the Firewall/NAT section.  Connections coming to your modem 
would reach your Raspberry Pi once you've added a mapping.

If I had to do it,  I would prefer to use OpenVPN.  This article should
