Good save of face.  One question:  Did Warren ever relinquish his 
bitterness about his run-in with the KDE developer ( 
http://www.mepis.org/node/view/99 ) and release his own source code 
under some sort of Free Software licensing?   I find this an ironic 
twist, since it was KDE that was originally adversely effected by their 
own relationship with TrollTech, who eventually submitted to the 
persuasion of Debian ( http://www.debian.org/News/1998/19981008 ) to 
change their licensing in a way acceptable to Debian's inclusion in 
their own distribution.  :-D

Warren did mention in his talk that his applications could be easily 
replicated by a competent programmer, and I don't disagree with this.  
However, for many people this is a proverbial slap in the face, since it 
is Mepis LLC that first benefits from Free Software, not the other way 
around.  Please fill us in on the present status of this matter, and 
maybe it will become a rewarding relationship.
