VidaLinux?

To keep on the OS discussion... anyone had any experiences with 
VidaLinux?  Im curious about the "preconfigured" gentoo setup...  no 
crazy long and ardous compiles going on, but can it deliver the same 
punch?  Portage alone is enough to pique my interest...
