Meeting Date for Meetings

At this point we still have one important detail to work out - an
established meeting day. We have established 7 p.m. as the beginning
time for our meetings. The requirement for a meeting place appears
resolved, and from all the places we've looked at, SRSH does offer the
best terms. Most other places require rental fees, or offer limited
resources. SRSH offers us plenty of room, chairs, tables, computers, a
network connection, and really powerful synergies.

It is suggested that we have an alternative place lined up, for
instance, the VFW place that Michael is following up on. Past
experience has taught us that the sudden loss of a meeting place can be
disastrous. We do need a disaster plan with redundancy.

Please respond to this message, and tell us exactly what day of the
month will work best for you, or forever hold you peace. We will only
change the day under certain conditions, for instance, holidays, bad
weather or conflicts with events in Osage, but we won't change the day
just to satisfy personal needs .. so if you do have a schedule that
interferes with our meetings here is your final chance to speak up.

Here the days we can't meet at SRSH: Thursdays, the 3rd and 4th Tuesday,
and Fridays.

My own personal recommendation is not to have meetings on the 1st or 2nd
weeks on the month since many other groups have meetings during these
times. Personally, I can't come to meetings on the Wednesday of the
second week. These are the days I think would be appropriate for our
group. Wednesdays, or Thursdays of the third or fourth week, my
personal preference would be the fourth week. That means our next
meeting can be February 23 or 24. I recommend the Wednesday of the
fourth week which is February the 23rd. This gives everyone at least 2
weeks notice about when our next meeting will be, and we need a meeting
soon, since our last meeting was nearly 1 month ago.

Who agrees to the last Wednesday of every month from now on? This is
easy to remember, too.

Thanks for any input,

Jonathan
