Is the big win for forums vs. mailing lists the web interface? If that
is the case, then can we use web-interface to the mailing list
provided by gmane as a forum? See

Regarding the sections that you wrote, I would like to see more
discussion along all of those lines but do you think there is enough
traffic in any one of them to be a successful spin-off from the main
list?
