I may be in the minority with this, but, Do we really need something that complex at this point? Do we have any issues where a secured anonymous vote will be important? The only real application of this that I see is for people that are no longer in town, but active in our group. Yes, in the long run some system based off our gpg keys would be nice, and I admit it would be fun to implement as well, I'm not sure that it wouldn't be over kill at this point. Introducing complexity where it is not needed, usually leads to more problems than it solves. I would be perfectly happy with a system that had a list of our members, possibly working off the list of members on the mailing list. You put in your email address, vote your vote, click submit, and the system shoots you an email saying that you voted (and how you voted). If you weren't the one that put the vote in, it becomes immediately apparent to you and you can contact an administrator to the system. It also servers as a "paper trail" if it ever comes to that. Mike.
