i don't know specifically what string it's searching for, but you can
try a few different strings and see what works, but here's the
recipe...

in the address bar type about:confg
then filter on useragent

you'll see one that says 'Firefox'

i use 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)' in one
setup that i use to fake out a server. another one i think also was
looking for the string 'Microsoft Internet Explorer', so i prepended
that. this works great under linux for me.

hope that helps

I hear that they will not support firefox (or other web browsers besides ie) I have heard that there is a plugin that will make the server think firefox is ie. or there is some place you set a setting. Could someone tell me how to do this. My computer runs linux so i have to use firefox (and absolutly do not trust ie).
