Re: Mepis Linux as a distro for Installfest or Meeting topic?

I tried it out once that I noticed the guy was from Morgantown. It is
supposedly a pretty good distro for beginners, from what I've read and I
guess I can kind of see that. It was a little too "pre-setup" for me, I
didnt really feel like I had much control over what was going on with the
distro and it had a bunch of apps that I didn't need. Other than that it
seemed pretty solid and did have some nice features.
