Hey folks,

I received an email with some Linux-related question that I don't really
have the knowledge to answer. I was wondering if any of you fine people
could help this gentleman out. I've modified the message slightly to
emphasize the questions. I don't really understand the question about the
iPod. See below:

Hey,
First off, I want to tell you that you guys have sparked my interest in
ubuntu. I got rid of windows all together the other day. I installed
ubuntu and have been playing around with it. I decided I want to keep it
on my computer. There are a few problems I am running into though. I was
wondering if you could give me some guidance? I have already looked at a
few forums and I can't seem to find what i'm looking for.

* For one, I can't get a .avi file to play on any players. I tried some
codes on the forums, but they don't work.

* Also, I can't seem to get my ipod to play any music.

I know you probably have better things to do,
but I thought I would give you a shot. Another question is:

* Do you know what program is similar to Macromedia Dreamweaver? I have a
site that I
ran with that, and I would like to use something in place of it, since I
am not going back to windows.
