I'll also give an account on a server which can be accessed via ssh to anyone for the purposes of accessing the freenode and/or oftc IRC networks *interactively* (my server provider doesn't allow non-interactive IRC connections such as bots or bnc type proxies) if you request one in person. I could also setup an IRC server which would use SSL if anyone would like to move the morlug channel there; that would enable connectivity via SSL on any port we wanted, so wvu couldn't block it regardless. There's also the third option of connecting via IPv6 - freenode supports it.
