The WVU chapter of ACM will be holding it's second OpenSource Fest on
Wednesday, April 18, 2007. This year, we would like to set it up in the
lobby area of the Engineering Sciences Building, this way we can actively
engage passing students and show them the promise and power of the
open-source movement.

To that end, we need your help. Throughout the day, we intend to give active
demonstrations and tutorials relating to certain open-source topics. If
there is a particular piece of software or hardware that you would like to
demonstrate or talk about, please let me know as soon as possible. If you
think your students would be interested, please tell them about in class.

The ACM chapter will be meeting next wednesday, the 11th in room 215 of the
ESB to make plans. We invite you to show up and participate. Pizza and
drinks will be served. More information about the OSFest will be sent out
that evening.
