I agree and disagree. The thing is with computers on the net is that
everyone is pretty much running a server of some form or another now. If
the desktop and server sides of linux find a way to work together, then
what is the harm in people getting typical windows users to use linux?

I feel that the wrong direction with linux would be to go in any one
specific direction aside from getting better than the last release. Keep
letting it get new drivers, new software, new ways of doing the same
thing...the more this happens the more people are encouraged to create
creative software.

What we need now is another 'linux' to pop up for the geeks to go play
with, Linux is in the mainstream now and it's becoming more and more
trendy to use it...so the elitists need something else to play with. ;-)

off to install beos on my ti-83,
