Re: Linux Laptops

I am using a Chromebook. I am also on a flaky Internet connection in
provincial Batangas so it takes some of the cloud advantage away. I am
beefing up the offline capability and only using the ChromeOS now. I have
used Linux for many years (Initially a distro that came on 14 floppy discs
and was a serious nightmare to install) and will probably consider adding
it one of these days.

If I were in a decent Internet environment I think it would be fine.
Especially if I was simply using it to ssh into the cloud where I was doing
the real work.
