Something our speaker Allan Cecil has to add, quoting him verbatim from
IRC:
07:45 < dwangoAC> redrick: Read the post, have not yet read everything said in
this channel; please note that for SVLUG I'll be focusing on
the Linux tools used to create this - the entire presentation
is 100% Linux, from the emulators used (fceux and lsnes,
especially lsnes) to the reverse engineering tools (Binary
Ninja running in Linux) to the capture device (Blackmagic
Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt) to the presentation method
(OBS STudio)
07:45 < dwangoAC> redrick: If you happen to have a chance to mention that in
the thread I'd be most appreciative. If I had wussed out and
switched to doing my presentation from Mac OS X or Windows
(shudder) I could have saved myself many hours of work, but
I'm a purist.
