I've just [re-]checked this[1], and I yes.

1.  Create a joker.com customer login.  Login as that customer.
2.  On the navbar, pick Domains, Renew.  This takes you to a 'Renew
    Your Domains' screen.
3.  The trick to this screen is to ignore the left side of the window
    where you can use a 'Filter name' widget to select a domain.
    This apparently is intended as a picker among domains already
    associated with the current login.  Instead, use the 'Simple Renewal'
    function on the right-hand side.  Type 'svlug.org' into the 
    fill-in field, and press the 'Simple Renewal' button.

Doing this takes you to a 'Payment Information' screen, where you 
hand over filthy lucre in some fashion, and proclaim who you are to the
banks, and like that.  Payment options are:

o  VISA
o  Master / Euro Card
o  American Express
o  PayPal
o  ELV

(Elektronisches Lastschriftverfahren aka ELV turns out to be an electronic
debit payment method used by banks in Germany.)

The 'Simple Renewal' feature appears to be fixed at a single year, which
fortunately is what you're seeking.


As an aside, there's a _lot_ of variation among registrars in countless
weird little ways, and one of the stranger ones is that many do _not_
permit just anyone to renew someone else's domain.  This is truly
bizarre, because, basically, why not?  It's in the registrar's interest 
to offer this ability, _and_ in the interest of the registrar's
customers, but many of them nonetheless don't.

Joker.com's willingness to accept renewals from anyone is one of the
reasons SVLUG uses that excellent Düsseldorf-based company, by the way.

[1] From time to time, registrars revamp _how_ they support critical
customer functions, which can be a little crazy-making, but one learns
to re-check at intervals.
