I am working on a speaker for January and later months too. Please let me and the list know of suggestions, ideas, comments, complaints etc over speakers. My SCALE talk called "Linux: the First Second" is not yet accepted, but I'll present a dry run during the week of 2/20 if it is. That is, assuming that you can stand two talks in February. The talk is not another about systemd, but instead about everything that comes between POR and PID 1: what is an initrd and why might we use it? What is the difference between 'warm' and 'cold' boot? et cetera. Have you been over to check-out the possibility of using a room at the new Hacker Dojo? I've been too lazy but am still a member. Thanks for all your hard work in putting on these presentations, Alison --- Alison Chaiken [email protected], 650-279-5600 http://{ she-devel.com, exerciseforthereader.org } "You shouldn't try to optimize things you can't measure." -- Elecia White, http://embedded.fm/episodes/170 _______________________________________________ svlug mailing list [email protected] http://lists.svlug.org/lists/listinfo/svlug
