For a definition of "moved" that still has 72 patrons donating $378/month
through patreon, as opposed to 44 donating $40/week (~180/month) through the
other thing.

His blog post complaining about patreon was about
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-intersect/wp/2017/12/13/facing-a-rebellion-of-furious-creators-patreon-backs-away-from-a-new-fee/
last year, which patreon backed down on after the torches and pitchforks came
out on the part of its entire userbase. (The _current_ patreon kerfluffle is
attacking sex workers, which they say is imposed on them by payment processors,
ala
https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/vbqwwj/patreon-suspension-of-adult-content-creators
. Patreon seems to have an annual scandal since its inception. One of them
"death of the internet" cron jobs.)

This is the first I've heard of librepay, usually the paypal also-rans that come
up are ko-fi.com and d.rip. (A bit like the way twitter has ello, mastodon,
disq.us, plurk, posterous, and whatever the "gnu social microblogging site" is
in the first paragraph of https://www.fsf.org/twitter...)
