What you think is important could be quite different that the original 
writer.  Never remove any part of the message.  You could completely 
change the message intent by deleting the important part and passing on 
the unimportant part.

What somebody needs to do is create an email client that can identify 
each reply separately and then present it to the reader in the form they 
desire.  Configured from Options, choose either "Read Forward" (bottom 
post) or "Read Reverse" (top post).  I know the people in this technical 
discussion are intelligent enough to create such an add on.  It looks to 
me like this message could be easily parsed and reassembled in what ever 
order the reader desires.  This would have the effect of reordering a 
message that has top and bottom posts and reassembling them in order, 
either forward or reverse.  (I said it fist)
