Yes, what is referred to as the Distribution Frame. I would avoid
termination in a boiler/furnace area, as you will likely be placing
active equipment there, and any additional heat will shorten the
lifespan of the equipment. I don't know the layout of your home, but you
probably want to look for a closet or office space with at least ~80
cubic feet. Your electrician will be placing pipe for high voltage - do
not run the Ethernet in the same pipe. Place it along side the pipe, or
against a stud and bring it out a mudring or j-box.
