This may be a little late. Nevertheless, here goes: So I know that busybox is used mainly on embedded devices and such. I run Tomato firmware on one of my Linksys routers at home. And I use static DHCP with most machines on my LAN. So I thought I'd take a look and see how Tomato does static DHCP addresses. Apparently, it doesn't use udhcpd to do that! It uses dnsmasq to do that. Take a look at this: http://www.thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/docs/dnsmasq-man.html and its option "--dhcp-host". Cheers, Vee.
