I've never used Uverse but I think the info here is not exactly correct. Pretty sure Uverse is fiber to the curb not fiber to the house. This makes a significant difference in that you are still using DSL for connectivity. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT%26T_U-verse I've got Comcast business and haven't noticed any throttling but unsure of the upload amounts (I do run bittorent that feeds at 25KB/s much of the time though).
