I moved my domains from godaddy to namecheap.com a few years ago for a
number of reasons, but mainly because I got tired of supporting a company
that degrades women to sell their services.

So far no issues with namecheap. They usually have monthly discount codes
for domain transfers and/or new registrations, plus every domain I have
registered so far has gotten a free year of domain privacy and an ssl cert.
