Carl and Martin,
I will agree with you that running phone and data should not be an issue,
thinking about your response. The error checking in protocols would take
care of any issues - and a low freq sine wave should not generate much
crosstalk. I remember working with some people at Honeywell on structured
wiring and dial pulse (which can create 50VDC square waves) was a problem
with our building control systems, but almost no one will be doing dial
pulse.
