The long page name seems minor and can probably be fixed with some
minor DNS magic.

worst case would be a cname though I think google has some suggestions
as well.

The direct invite is a bit annoying, but if it lets you mass invite, I
don't mind
having people click on a link to join a group.

As far as html, I really think people should be posting using
plaintext to public forums like mailing lists and
such.
