Thanks Ben, and Andrew too,

Picked up the psc 2355 yesterday but probably won't set it up till weekend 
since I have to rearrange corner next to my desk at home to give the 2355 top 
of file cabinet and stack my box and server on shelf above. 

Except for the foot print required The machine looks quite capable and 
linuxprinting says printing with hpijs driver works best as it will interact 
with firmware for auto adjustments to paper type, dpi, etc. Gimp print driver 
pcl-900 is supposed to work (but I don't think it'll take advantage of hp 
firmware). Scanning is supposed to work fine with sane and hpoj. There is 
also lots of functionality with scanning, copying, digital camera interface 
that does not require my workstation to be on which is nice. 

I started with linux and a canon inkjet.....ugh!. 4 years ago I purchased a hp 
930C and never have had any trouble. I hope this 2355 will prove just as 
good. 

I'll post any problems/warnings as well.
