I finally found the problem. It was a 7.5V AC/DC converter. I moved it to a more distant power point and the problem has gone away Perhaps someone else can profit from this somewhere down the line -- Cheers, Rick Miles Movement stopped is no movement, and rest set in motion is no rest.
