Small little rant RE vacation messages

Okay people. Here is the _thing_ - like it or lump it.

Most people have the common courtesy to exclude mailing lists from
their reminder messages. Now, if for some reason, you do not have the
ability to do so, PLEASE do it at the mailing list end. Go to
http://lists.mlug.org.au/mailman/LISTNAME, enter your email address
and password, and click the NO MAIL option - voila - no more MLUG
emails til you uncheck the box! No more Vacation messages to the list,
and I am a happy admin. If you fail to do it, I go in and do it for
you. The problem is, then YOU cant remove it, YOU don't know why YOU
get no MLUG emails, then YOU email me and ask why the list is dead, I
spend 5 minutes looking, making sure there are no mail errors, only to
find out that YOU were the annoying person who did not 'tick the box'
before going on holidays.

Basicaly, you don't tick the box, you waste my time, your time and
everyone on the lists time. It takes a minute, if that.
