Your udev permissions are just the same as mine and I have to apologise 
because what I was thinking of this morning was my having to set up udev for 
my camera but the changes I had to make were in /etc/hotplug. I had to come 
home and check my daughter's computer because she still connects the camera 
whereas I just put my card in a slot on my hp psc and don't have to configure 
anything on my workstation.

That being said if you have a hotplug problem this link will give you an idea 
of what might have to be done.
